Ben Vorlich
Ben Vorlich is above Loch Earn and is one of the best known mountains and is extremely popular. Its very close to the highlands and it gives spectacular views of the Lowlands.
The terrain is very straight forward hill path. The descent can be tricky if following the Stuc a’Chroin route as its steep, with rocky terrain and slight scrambling and boggy, eroded ground.
Distance is around 14.5 km/9 miles which should take the average walker around 6-7 hours to complete.
