Cairnsmore of Fleet

Cairnsmore of Fleet is the summit in the most Southern part of Scotland.  It is a very popular hill with several routes of ascent but most popular is from the west.

The terrain a wood and forest path and tracks.  There is a hill path over moorland but it is very boggy on the approach to the summit.

Distance is around 12.25 km/7.75 miles which should take the average walker around 3.5-5 hours to complete.
