Goat Fell

Goat Fell is the highest of the Arran mountains and is very popular.  There are several ways to climb this mountain but the most common is from Corrie.  It is a circular route to the summit and is quieter than the other popular approach from Brodick.  It has some amazing views from the north ridge as well as the peak of North Goatfell.

The terrain is very rocky paths crossing into steep terrain.  This route can be very difficult so is suitable for more experienced walkers.

Distance is around 8 km/5 miles which should take the average walker around 4-6 hours to complete.
