The Cobbler

This mountain is one of the most known mountains in Scotland.  This mountain is also well known as Ben Arthur.  It has the most distinctive outline of any mountain in Scotland and is extremely well known for this.  This mountain is extremely popular all over Scotland and is a lovely day out.

The terrain is a clear mountain path with some rocky steep sections but mainly on the descent.  It is possible to go back down the same way as the ascent cutting out the steep rocky sections.

Distance is around 11 km/7 miles which should take the average walker around 4-6 hours to complete.
