St Fillans Hill

St Fillans Hill is also called Dundurn but known more as St Fillans.  It is a steep rocky hill.  It offers very beautiful views and lots of farm sights with plenty of sheep and some other animals.

The terrain is a hill path that is easy to follow.  It can be quite boggy and marshy depending on the weather and time of year.  In the spring it can be snowy and icy which is a spectacular sight to see on the ascent.  The initial ascent is extremely steep and rocky.  The descent can be similar depending on the path taken.

Distance is around 6.25 km/4 miles which should take the average walker around 2-3 hours to complete.
